EP 52 - How to Make Prayer Part of Your Everyday Life - Guest: Sean Lane

What if growing closer to God isn't about praying perfectly, but simply learning to talk to Him throughout your day?

In this episode of the Prayer Presence Podcast, we sit down with Sean Lane, founder of Renewed Strength Collective, to explore how prayer transformed his relationship with God, strengthened his marriage, and inspired him to use his passion for fitness to serve others.

Sean shares his journey from occasional prayer to ongoing prayer time with God, whether walking his dog, working out, or navigating everyday decisions. We also discuss why waiting for perfect clarity can keep us from taking steps of faith and how God often reveals His direction as we move forward in obedience.

This conversation is a reminder that prayer isn't just something we do at certain times. It's an invitation to walk with God throughout every part of our lives.

Join us as we explore what it means to grow in prayer, trust God with the unknown, and develop a deeper, more personal relationship with Him.

[00:00:00] I've been in the fitness industry for over a decade. It's kind of a gross industry sometimes. How do we do it in a way that honors God and keeps us away from the pride, the idolatry, everything that is just core in the fitness industry? And how do we do it to honor God? And I was talking to a friend a while back. He looked at me and he goes, hey, you're still looking for perfect clarity. If God gave you perfect clarity, you don't need faith. And I was like, oh, okay, right. Okay, you're right. Let me take the next step. If I can pray while doing something, I'll let everything go. I'll let everything flow. I don't care about the, oh, how formal does it sound? Am I praying right? It's like, God, I'm just talking to God.

[00:00:30] We're just having a conversation. This is the Prayer Presence Podcast with your host, Claude Bennett and Alejandro Cornejo. Man, it's great to be back talking about and spreading the word of prayer. Yes, Alejandro. That's what I think. And we have somebody else joining us today in the Prayer Presence Living Room. Sean Lane, give it up. We should have the little sound effect. Sean, welcome to the Prayer Presence Podcast.

[00:01:02] Thank you for the invite. Yeah, you know, why don't you let our listeners know a little bit about yourself, a little bit of your background and we'll get a little bit of, you know, why you're here and get into some more questions. But tell us what got you? What's going on in your life? So big thing is really trying to actually get better at my prayer life. And like in the last four-ish years, it's gotten significantly better, but I do want it to continue to get better. It's an important thing.

[00:01:30] It's why I started a non-profit, which doesn't have to do a prayer. Sorry, guys. But to make Christians physically healthier, it came from me praying of like, God, I see this problem. You've given me gifts and experience. Like I've been a coach for over a decade. Like you've given me the experience. Like how do I help this? And that's how my non-profit originally started was through a prayer of go.

[00:01:59] Okay, let's go. Let's figure this out. And what's the name of it? Sorry, it's Renewed Strength Collective. Renewed Strength Collective. Renewed Strength. And the goal is to, you said to help, is it Christians be healthier and how? Christians be healthier, fitter, stronger in ways that honor God instead of, like I said, I've been in the fitness industry for over a decade. It's kind of a gross industry sometimes. How do we do it in a way that honors God and like keeps us away from the pride, the idolatry, everything that is just core in the fitness industry?

[00:02:29] Sure. And how do we do it to honor God? Like God gave us our bodies. He called us in the Bible multiple times of take care of this. It's the thing that gets filled with the Holy Spirit. Okay. It's interesting. You say the background of the industry. I think I heard a joke that was like, hey, somebody worked out today and they didn't tell somebody about it. Listen. There's actually, there's actually a person that worked out today. And didn't tell anybody. And mercy. It's the time we hear about it, right? Listen. Yes.

[00:02:59] Even I'm guilty of that. Like I do post it. That is how I grow my business. So. Yes, sir. Great. So, so tell us a little bit about your, your Christian journey. How long have you been a believer? So I think I was baptized at like 11. Okay. So like, it's been a long time, but like the last five, especially the last three is like the years that I've really tried to pour in and be like, this is who I am. And like, it's my core being like, let me actually dive in and prove it.

[00:03:28] Like, so way more prayer in the last few years, way more like reading the Bible. Prayer started with like nightly prayers of my wife of like, oh, we should be doing that. Turned into, hey, let me like actually take time out of my day to like sit and pray with God to now, like even in the morning when I take my dog for a walk. I'm like, cool. No music, no headphones. God, we're just going to, we're going to have a chat and I'm just going to praise you. Okay. So.

[00:03:58] Three years. Three years. It would be three years as of February. Okay. Okay. So did you start off right away praying? It's come along. It came along later. Like actually moved out here from California. Okay. I don't know what it was about moving out here, but there was definitely, it was a shift for me on like, I really want to focus more on being a good Christian husband, not just a good husband. Like, okay. Let me be a good Christian man who can lead my wife. So it was like, oh, cool. I should be praying for us every night.

[00:04:27] Now there's some nights where she still prays because I'm like, hey, I don't got it today. Okay. But like most nights. That is good. Right. You know, the, the, the, the marriage is, is I always say it's good because you're not always going to be a hundred percent. And when, when you're not, that's when you need that other person. It's when you don't have the other person. That's like, if it's all on you all the time. Right. Yeah. And that's going to be tough. And she's, she's so good.

[00:04:51] Like she's her, her, her mother, like they're both such great prayer warriors that like, I definitely do lean in like, well, how are you praying? Like, let me, let me, you're a resource for me to get better at this. Okay. So let me, let me go back because you said you were baptized at 11 and you know, one of the things that, that I heard recently in that I would say the reality in a lot of our churches is that there are a lot of people in church that are not quote unquote safe. I would. You know what I mean? Yeah.

[00:05:18] I mean, because they're, they're kind of consuming the spiritual goods or, you know, like this friend of mine that he was just going because that's his granny took him. And he said, when I would go to church, I would just, you know, continue with my satanic duties or whatever, you know? So I think it's a lot of people grow up in church. You said you were young. Walk me through that process. You said you were baptized. So did you get some rudimentary pieces of theology and understanding?

[00:05:47] So did something happen later? Like you said recently that in the last four or five years that catalyzed a closer walk? Tell it, tell me a little bit more about that. So growing up, like both my parents were Christian and I grew up, like they were split when I was little, but like both of them influenced like, Hey, here's Christianity and everything. And I was always a curious kid. So I never liked the, Hey, I'm going to believe this because my parents told me to. So I was always asking questions, always trying to get more. And then when it came up to like, Hey, you're old enough that you can make the decision if you want to get baptized.

[00:06:15] I was like, tell me everything that that means learning. I was like, yeah, I, I agree. And I believe that. Um, then come college, I was definitely out of church for a while. Just full-time student, full-time working, uh, means I worked every Sunday. So, and I use the excuse of, Oh, I don't like going on Friday nights when I probably could. I was like, ah, we'll get back to it. And then, uh, finally started going more regularly again when I was dating my now wife. Um, which was great. She was big influence for that.

[00:06:42] It was helpful because she was also seeking of like, Hey, I want to be in a church again. So that was in San Diego, California moved out here. But like right before that is when I first started to be like, I do want to take this more serious. I want this to be a more active thing, but whatever it is about St. Louis getting out here, I was like, this has to be a thing. So you're not from St. Louis? Not from St. Louis. From California. Born in San Diego, lived in Northern California in Modesto for a while. And then back to San Diego and then met my now wife and decided we didn't want to be in California anymore.

[00:07:11] And both of y'all were coming together on a spiritual journey on a deeper calling at the same time. Yep. Wow. Exactly. So, so how was the choosing of St. Louis process? Did God participate or you just kind of pointed at the calendar? So it's funny you say that because I just recently talked to somebody about like looking back at it. Cause at first I wouldn't say that it was a God thing. Okay. Like it was, uh, we wanted out of California. We started kind of picking some cities and kind of like exploring them online.

[00:07:40] Realized we're looking at halfway or more across the country. And we're like, we should probably go somewhere where one of us knows some people. And I knew people out here and I liked St. Louis. I'd been out here to visit a few times. Uh, my wife had been out here to visit once. And like, we kind of like it. Uh, looking back, there was definitely, uh, the thought of St. Louis was God.

[00:07:58] Like, like, I'm not going to pretend that there wasn't some outside influence from knowing people, but looking back, like, oh, God put me here for a reason with just the people I've met and the things and like the spiritual like walk that has changed since being here. And I'm like, I don't think this would happen not being here. Okay. So. Okay. It's like that saying I heard recently. It says, you know, God orders your steps and your stops. Yeah. God orders. And sometimes, you know, one thing that I've realized is sometimes you don't know it till it's already done. Right.

[00:08:26] I think that's the grace of God that often, you know, I think, uh, uh, and I'm going to be careful, you know, saying this, but I think often people are looking for something that's very, very clear. Mm-hmm. Sometimes even mystical, like they're waiting for, hey, uh, Claude, uh, are you going to get, go ahead and give me that ham sandwich. Yeah. But what I love about God, right, is that sometimes his providential will, he'll direct you and then you look back and then you're thinking, man, that was God the whole time. Oh, a hundred percent.

[00:08:56] And it's just, it gives, it's, I think that's an opportunity for worship because you realize in your own ability, your own wisdom, you're just so limited. Mm-hmm. Uh, sometimes you think you're making power moves or whatnot, but for me, it's been one of those things where, you know, yeah, I'm praying, but then I just take some action and then I realize, wow, you know, God was, God was ordering this the whole time. And I can look, I can see now looking back how he was there the whole time. Yeah, 100%.

[00:09:23] And I, I would say even when you intentionally with your mind and your heart, uh, give your life to the Lord, receive Christ, uh, and his spirit then dwells in you. That's right.

[00:09:40] And so at that point, his spirit begins to influence you, influence your thoughts, influence your behavior, uh, influence your decisions. Um, prior to that, there was another influence, whether you knew it or not. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:10:03] And so I like to say there's two kingdoms, the kingdom of God's dear son, Jesus Christ, and the kingdom of darkness. Those are the two spiritual kingdoms. And you're being influenced greatly by one or the other. Yeah. Intentionally, unintentionally, doesn't matter. So certainly God had a hand in bringing you to St. Louis.

[00:10:32] And since being here, you discovered this, this, this new purpose that's associated with the body. So let me ask you, when you started down this journey, how did your prayer life impact it? You started to have some thoughts. Did you start praying specifically?

[00:10:54] I started praying specifically for like, God, I know the gifts you've given me, but like, how am I supposed to use those to actually do your work? Yeah. Because like that's, everything we do is, is hits. Sure. Like we, we all know that in this room, but like, Hey, currently I didn't feel like I was. Understood. But these are still the gifts you gave me. Where is it? And then first time, like the nonprofit idea popped in my head, I was like, that's crazy. Yeah. You can't, you can't do a fitness nonprofit.

[00:11:23] Like one, like, I don't understand how that nonprofit works too. I don't understand how you make that like a job. So I was like, Oh God, like that. That's crazy. What am I supposed to do? Funny enough, you brought up the whole like clarity thing. Like I realized that that was the go and I'll fill in answers. And I was talking to a friend a while back and he looked at me and he goes, Hey, you're still looking for perfect clarity. My wife likes to call me out on this too. Cause I do fall into that. But he's like, Hey, you're looking for perfect clarity.

[00:11:51] If, if God gave you perfect clarity, you don't need faith. And I was like, Oh, buddy. Okay. Right. Okay. You're right. Let me take the next step quickly. The next day, literally praying. It was like, all right, God, who do I know that like does anything in this space? So I can get ideas of how this works. I was in a life group with Claude for a year before I was like, Hey, you do nonprofit stuff. Can I talk to you about what like nonprofits do? And he's like, yeah, of course.

[00:12:19] I was like, ah, okay, God, I see what you were doing. So, so that's, that's, that's very intriguing. I knew you joined the life group. And so you joined the life group because you had a fitness business and you, you want, you were still kind of trying to. Yeah. Just wanted to, how do I fit God into this better? Absolutely. Absolutely. Interesting.

[00:12:42] And I want to call out the piece there, you know, that if someone is listening, I think that's often a place of confusion for many people. Because as you mentioned, sometimes people are just looking for everything to be aligned. And one thing that, you know, I think about often in the scriptures is that we are called to exercise wisdom, wisdom from above. You know, we're called to let the, let the, uh, peace of God rule in your hearts. Absolutely. Let the word of Christ rule in you richly.

[00:13:10] And so as a parent, I think about my own kids. I want to give them some instruction to do something, but a lot of it is up to them to realize, okay, maybe I could do this. You know, say I have an outcome, cut the grass. So now whether you go and hire somebody to cut the grass and you split the money with them so you can like, you know, that's up to you. Right. Or you want to do the back first or you want to do it in the first stop.

[00:13:38] But the point being is God has given us gifts. Like you said, the gifts, abilities. But I love what you said is that if it was all clear, it would be, you wouldn't need God. No faith. There would be no faith. And I think sometimes we get confused because we, sometimes we see in the Old Testament when the canon was being written, when he's speaking to prophets. Yeah. And sometimes, you know, you think like, well, how come he didn't tell me like he told Samuel kind of a thing.

[00:14:04] And it's like, no, it's, you have to understand God's work through time, but he is constantly leading and directing and ordering our steps. It's just sometimes not how we think or as clear as we think that it's going to be. But I love that you, that you made that. It's still clear. Just take the first step. Yeah. Take the first step. Take the first step. Take the first step. Meet with the person that puts on your heart. There you go. And I sit next to you once a week for a year. Turn into the Bible studio.

[00:14:34] But, but I love that. I love that, that step of faith. I love how daily prayer has become a commitment for you because now you're on the water, let's say, and you're walking and you need to maintain.

[00:14:55] I mean, listen, if you would have told me, if you would have told me a year ago that there'd be times that I'm in an empty gym working out, music off, nothing going on, praying between sets. I'd be like, that doesn't make sense. Yeah. And I was like, oh, that's where some of my best prayers probably happen. Because I don't know if it's a, because I've been in the industry so long, if I can pray while doing something, oh, I'll just, I'll let everything go. I'll let everything flow. I don't care about the, oh, how formal does it sound? Am I praying right? It's like, God, I'm just talking. Yeah.

[00:15:25] We're just having a conversation. This is your comfortable space. Yeah. Absolutely. I like what you mentioned there is, you know, you're in between sets. I mean, that's the prayer without ceasing, praying between meetings. If you're at work somewhere, you know, pray before a meeting. You know, praying even during sometimes, you know, if you're on mute, you can just kind of, you know, say some things. But there's always opportunities to pray. Yes. Man, this is a great time.

[00:15:49] And we're going to take a moment right now just to remind you, if you have not subscribed to the channel yet, please do so. Because that helps us to bring in guests like Sean and to talk about these subjects that we're passionate about, prayer, and to give you the tools that you need to be successful. So we're going to take a quick moment here and we'll come back with Sean and his prayer journey. We're back with Sean Lane.

[00:16:14] And you mentioned about your organization, Renew Strength Collective, helping. Is it believers, Christians? So it's primarily Christians. Right now it's actually primarily Christian males. One, trying to work within churches. So being a male, they don't. Let's just get any weirdness out of it. We'll just start with the males. I also, males are supposed to be the head of the household. Yeah. So let's start you and like build your habits so that everyone kind of sees and follows. I saw a stat years ago.

[00:16:42] I never actually looked to confirm if it's a real stat before I say this. But if you can get the male head of the household, whether it's the father or the oldest son to start doing a habit, 80% of the time the rest of the household will follow that habit. Really? Interesting. Once again, did not actually look this up for proof. But I heard it and I like it. You read it. You read it somewhere. Come on, Aya.

[00:17:08] But, you know, I guess going with that theme about habits, what has helped you? Have there been some habits that have helped you within prayer, meaning that maybe you attach it to something like you mentioned when you walk the dog or when you between. What are some of the habits that you have implemented that have helped you to pray more frequently? Definitely. So one of the biggest ones, and we've brought it up multiple times, is I refuse to not pray in the morning when I walk my dog now.

[00:17:36] Because like one morning it was just, hey, I should do this. Like, well, I have this time. Let me take my headphones out and I'll do that instead. Funny enough, the way that the habit actually developed was I found myself after about three weeks being like, I don't want to do this today. I don't want to. And I was like, you know what? You don't want to pray out loud. Cool. Pray out loud. Don't do the quiet under your breath or in your head. Like, do it out loud when you don't want to. So now to this day, anytime I'm like, I don't want to. I just, I'm tired today. It's like, cool, out loud.

[00:18:06] That's been a big one. And then it's just became part of my normal life routine at night. Like we're laying in bed. We'll do like a Bible study together on, we use our phones and probably not the greatest thing, but we use the Bible app. Do a Bible study. It's like, all right, cool. Let's get comfortable. We're going to pray and then we'll go to bed. And during the middle of the day, just kind of, I would love to say that I had a trick or a habit for that one. It's just, I find myself doing it now.

[00:18:30] So you mentioned your wife praying a couple of times and you mentioned she's a prayer warrior and her mom's a prayer warrior. Is there value in marrying a woman who prays? Oh, yeah. First of all, marry a godly woman and your life is better. Even in struggles, your life is better. But one that's like good at praying, like you said, it's something you can lean on when you just don't got it.

[00:18:57] Also, she just has this different love that just shines so much that I'm like, ah, cool. I know I want that. So I know there's things I can still work on. Like I'd love that she's something that I can hold her up and be like, cool. I got to catch up on this one. Absolutely. Absolutely. So she motivates. In every way. You're proud.

[00:19:19] And are you desiring to, how should I put it, even take the lead in some ways? For the most part, like I would really like to be that biblical husband who leads in all parts. But like I also need to catch myself and be like, hey, I know she's really good at it. Maybe I don't want to do it right now. Like, no, no, no. You want the other thing. So, you know, so. But I also love watching her flourish in her gifts.

[00:19:49] I love that. I love that. If I were to, let's say, have a conversation with her, how would she describe your prayer life? I hope she would say it's good. I would hope she says it's good. The last time we really talked about it, she was very happy to see how it's changed in the last few years. Because she's like, oh, I know that you're hearing from God directly more clearly now and more often and better.

[00:20:17] And like, it does like help her trust more and help her like, oh, I want to be led by you more. Which is a nice feeling. Like for anyone who's not married or soon to be married, it's a nice feeling. Okay. So she can see the growth. Yeah. She can definitely see the growth. Okay. So if I were to have that conversation. Listen, she might jokingly make some jokes because she knows you, but. Tell me more though on that progression. How is it different?

[00:20:45] You know, how is it the time? Is it the structure? Because again, a lot of times people, we know that there is no set formula. We do have a model prayer. I think that's the one thing that Jesus did give us in model prayer. Yeah. So there is a structure, but maybe walk me through how has it changed and how do you see the progression in your prayer life? I actually really like that question because I'm not great at following the Lord's prayer from the Bible.

[00:21:15] Like personally, it's just, it's great. Love it. It's a great default. But like personally, I've actually separated a lot. Like my morning prayer is primarily just Thanksgiving and praise to God. Like if there's like something heavy on my heart or like my head, when I wake up, I'll be like, Hey God, this is what, this is what's there. But, and then go into all the praise. Because the prayers during the day is typically the, Hey God, let's have a conversation. Like it helps me process. It helps me like actually say what I'm trying to say.

[00:21:44] And then I do find myself the night prayer being a little bit more formulaic on like, Hey, let's cover our bases of like, pray for these things going on. Pray for our family, pray for each other. Father, God, keep, keep guiding us, keep praying for us and like watch over our house and while we sleep and like protect my pets while we're sleeping. So. Yeah. Interesting. I want to dig into the more, the midday one. Cause you said you're talking. So is that petition, you know, are you asking God for something or are you just, Lord, this is on my mind.

[00:22:12] You know, there's a person next to me, they get on my nerves and I'm going to forgive them. I mean, is it kind of that? It's kind of all of that, to be honest. It's very depending on the day. Like if there's really something like God, like I, I need this or I need your help or like it'll be during that time. Or if it's, Hey God, I've noticed that this is on my head or heart a lot. Sometimes it's just like, Hey God, I, I just feel like I want to talk to you. I don't know what to talk to you about. So we're just gonna, we're going to have a very informal chat right now. God. So it's very relational. Yeah.

[00:22:42] The middle one is definitely very, feels very relational. Like if I had to describe it, it's like if I hit up my dad or my stepdad and was like, Hey, you guys want to go get some coffee? And just like chat. Yeah. So. Yeah, that's good. Very, very nice. Very nice. I like to talk about vision and prayer as it relates to vision. Are you envisioning prayer and what that might look like with some of your clients? For the nonprofit? Yes.

[00:23:12] For my other training business, not quite yet. I understood. Just the demographic. It's different. It's a work in progress. Yeah. It's a work in progress. So like see how that. It's evangelistic. Yeah. A little, a little more evangelistic. And we're gonna go that route. But no, like the nonprofit, like there will be an aspect of every day before you, you train, here's the scripture of either the week or the day. Take time to reflect on this.

[00:23:36] And then, like, I would love to do a call. I would love to do a weekly call where I'm like, hey, let's check in with people that are, whoever's available that's doing the nonprofit work. Let's check in, see how you're doing. How's your desert prayer life? How's this? Okay, cool. Let's pray. Let's talk again next week. Okay.

[00:24:01] Yeah, because that's what I was gonna lean into seeing with that kind of context where you're, you have a nonprofit, you have a group or an organization. You know, I think that there's great opportunities for common or communal corporate prayer. Yeah. I think that's an opportunity that we often miss in the churches. You know, we're praying in church. Right. But how do we pray more in community, in the workplace? Obviously, we're doing it in the family, but in the workplace or other places where there are people that want to pray.

[00:24:28] And I think that one thing that I've learned is a lot of people are willing to pray, almost similar to the household thing where the man has the habit. But I think that a lot of people sometimes feel shy being the first one to say, hey, can we pray or something? But I've noticed that if you put that out there. Absolutely. That a lot of people will actually join. Yeah. And so, you know, I don't know if, as we're talking about that, that's an opportunity in this to. I mean, I've done that even in church.

[00:24:57] Been like a couple of dudes, like good friends and be like, hey, y'all want to pray right now? Yeah. And like felt super awkward to bring up. Don't know why the first time it was awkward. Yeah. The three of us kind of like, yeah, I think we do. That's good, man. That is. That's very good. Like you said, I think it's a great opportunity to model, to lead, to be an example. We're supposed to be a witness.

[00:25:23] And I think if we're going to inspire people to care for their physical bodies, right? Well, the physical body, the whole purpose is to carry our spirit and soul so that we can be a witness and bring glory to God. I know.

[00:25:49] So to be able to exercise both ways in your collective would be amazing. It's opportunities. It's opportunities. And do we have the boldness? And I don't know if, you know, maybe the, because I know our time may be running short, but I'm trying to think what were some of the things or maybe whether it's scriptures or illumination that you got from the scriptures that helped in the prayer life?

[00:26:15] Or there's some scriptures or something that you realize, maybe after reading the scriptures that, man, this is something that's really helping me ground in prayer. And it's helped me to grow and maybe perhaps to develop that characteristic, like as we develop the fruit of the spirit. Anything like that for you? So I feel like this is going to be such the biggest cop-out answer, but it's the more I just read in general, the more I'm like, oh, here's this really like amazing person in the Bible.

[00:26:44] Oh, look, 90% of what they talk about is them praying and talking to God. Maybe I need to do that more. That's good. I don't know why, but the last two months I've reread the entire story all about Gideon for the last couple months. I just keep going back to it for some reason. And all he kept doing was being like, okay, God, that sounds crazy, but okay. And I'm just like, oh, so even that sounds crazy. But you're good. I got you.

[00:27:14] And I love that makes sense. Like, you know, how are you going to fight with 300? Yeah. How are you going to fight with 300? And he's having this conversation with God, right? He's having this conversation with God. Even before that, like all the bargaining he did at first of like, well, if this is what you really want, maybe do this thing. Okay. You did it. You know, actually that's the simple way. How about we do it the opposite? Like really show me that you want me to do this. And it's like, oh man, I get it, Gideon. And I don't want to get it. I just want to be able to just obey better. But like, I get it.

[00:27:42] I think it's a good picture of often how we are that, you know, God has given us so much insight. But sometimes we're still asking him to prove himself to us. You know, prove yourself. And I'm like, man, how many things do I have to do? You know, Jesus has come. He's a resurrection from the dead. And, you know, but it gets to this piece of, you know, I always think about God's forbearance. Yeah. How that's something that we should develop as well.

[00:28:10] You know, and when I looked that up, you know, forbearance, that's specifically dealing with people. There is something called dealing with circumstances, perseverance. Dealing with circumstance. But forbearance is dealing with people. And I always think about what Jesus is saying, man, how long must I be with you? Oh, yeah, little faith, you know, because Jesus is operating in faith. Absolutely. But for us, it's kind of like Gideon.

[00:28:38] Think about Moses, you know, where they're like, well, you know, I don't know. You know, I can't talk. And here's God, you know, telling him, man, look, I got something for you. But I guess it's probably a reminder, right, that we never arrived, but we have a God that is forbearing. That even in spite of all of that, I always think in spite of all of that, he still loves us. He gives us a second chance, a third chance, fourth chance. And he wants us to grow. Yeah. There's no question about it.

[00:29:05] And obviously, Jesus demonstrated a significant prayer life while he was here on the earth. And then the apostles demonstrated a significant prayer life. And so that's our examples as far as New Testament believers, right?

[00:29:29] And ultimately, at some point, we're supposed to mature and become examples of a significant prayer life. Amen. Amen. Yeah. Well, Sean, it's been, you know, great having you again, Renew Strength Collective. And, you know, really excited about, you know, it'd be great to probably have you back as your organization continues to grow. And again, maybe common, maybe some corporate prayer starts happening in the gym, online, or whatever it is. I think that's a great opportunity. Absolutely.

[00:29:59] Thank you for coming in and sharing your story with us, man. Thank you for having me, guys. Claude, you want to close this out? Absolutely. Father, we just thank you for Sean. We thank you, God, that he heard you and obeyed. We pray your blessing upon this non-for-profit, Father. We pray that it will be a sacred space, God, for believers to grow and to mature and to develop, Lord.

[00:30:28] We pray that you would continue to give Sean wisdom on how to move forward day by day, step by step. And we look forward, God, to the witness that he'll be in the future. We pray this was a blessing to our hearers, those that are considering, what is it that God wants me to do with my gifts? And we encourage them to pray and then to go. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen.
