EP 48 - The Prayer that Prepares

What if God is already preparing something in your life, but prayer is how He prepares you to recognize it?

In Acts 10, Cornelius and Peter are separated by culture, background, geography, and spiritual experience. Yet both men are praying. And through prayer, God begins moving them toward an encounter that would change not only their lives, but the course of the early church.

In this episode of the Prayer Presence Podcast, we explore how prayer prepares us for what God wants to reveal, how responding to the light God gives us can lead to greater understanding, and why obedience matters when God begins to move.

We also unpack an important truth about prayer: prayer is not a religious work we perform to get something from God. It is relationship. It is communion with our Father. It is a place where God shapes us, prepares us, and sometimes challenges the boundaries of what we thought we understood.

Cornelius was seeking God. Peter was walking with God. Both still needed God to prepare them for what was next.

Listen in and consider what God may be preparing you for through prayer.
